Do something epic. Fundraise this February.

We are looking for Lockdown Legends to do something epic in February to fundraise for Scope. Whatever challenge you choose, you'll be joining Scope's team of Lockdown Legends.

You could take on an epic challenge at home or use your daily exercise allowance to get active outdoors if you're able to. Whatever you feel you can achieve. You could:
  • Walk, wheel or run 5km
  • Complete 100 laps of your garden
  • Do a virtual danceathon
  • Walk 10,000 steps every day
  • Do 100 pancake flips
Whether it's a one off, a daily challenge, or anything in between - get creative, stay safe and have some fun to support Scope this February.

Disabled people have been amongst the hardest hit by Coronavirus and our work is needed now more than ever. But the pandemic has been devastating for our charity. Whilst our services are experiencing unprecedented demand, our income has fallen by around £1.2 million a month during lockdown as we have had to close all 195 of our shops and all our fundraising events have been cancelled.

Be a Lockdown Legend for Scope and your fundraising will help us be there for disabled people and their families during the pandemic and beyond.

Hi@Adrian_Scope, I had to smile wistfully at your suggestions for February fundraising...
I can't do any of the things you mention, I can barely take a few steps indoors and I'm lucky if I feel strong enough on a particular day for my carer to help me have a shower.

I may be able to make a one-off donation to Scope next week but that's all I can contribute, unfortunately...

I hope that those who are able to walk appreciate their legs!!!

    Best wishes with the fundraising.

Any and all donations are very much appreciated @Oxonlady. If you did fancy doing some fundraising, please remember that it doesn't have to be something physical like walking or wheeling. I know of people who've knitted, drawn, sung, and so much more in aid of charity!

@Tori_Scope that's fine bit he doesn't need the extra calories also he only gets money from me so defeats the fund raising principle
