Hi all of you
I wish you keeping fine and healthy.
May I ask please if you know from where I can get a cat.
I am desperate to have a white cat, i missed my one i had for 3 years.
I tried to call 2 pet shops they don't have any.
It would help me a lot if you have any idea where I can look for.
Many thanks , have a very sweet evening.

I am sorry this is a disability community and we do not deal with pets
You are not the first to enquire about pets so there must be an error in the link you used -
@janer1967 maybe scope should open a charity pet shop lol ?

Ok
Many thanks -
No problem hope you find a cat though

@naima lots of rescues are looking for foreva homes. They would be best people to contact in your area. Animals can fetch great comfort in difficult and non difficult times. Wish you luck.

Hi @naima - I 'inherited' the most beautiful grey cat with my property who sadly died. I thought the only cat I'd 'possibly' like in the future would be one like him. A couple of years later a kitten & her brother were abandoned near my home, & my son & daughter-in-law brought her around. The rest is history, & I now have a white cat with tabby markings to her head, black splotches to her body & tail. She's adorable. Perhaps be open to a cat who needs the lovely home you could give regardless of their colouration. As mentioned, try getting a cat from for example here: https://www.cats.org.uk/adopt-a-cat/find-a-cat Hope this helps, & thanking you for your kind wishes,.

Just to add Naima is a disabled person who recently joined this online community. She has now enquired about getting a white cat. She was not led here by any advert.

Hello @naima
You might wish to get in touch with 'The CatsProtection League'. They operate an adoption and rehoming service. Their wbsite can be found here: https://www.cats.org.uk/
Hope this helps you and good luck in getting a new furry friend x -
Hi @naima! I hope you're well

@naima
I'm sorry about my comment last night I didnt realise you were already a member we have been getting lots random enquiries of people looking for pets and thought this was another one
There are rehoming sites on facebook as well where you may find a cat
Spring to summer is also when majority of kittens are available
Good luck -
Yeah if it wasn't for the Housing's "No Pets" policy I'd have a little cat.

We have about on cat per square metre where I live!
And we still get mice!“This is my simple religion. No need for temples. No need for complicated philosophy. Your own mind, your own heart is the temple. Your philosophy is simple kindness.”
