I was working for a company and had missed several days due to having Epilepsy and seizures. I took it apon myself to self Identify and let me employer know of my illness. Not long after I disclosed this info to HR they terminated me for a reason I should have been warned about the reason I was terminated. I believe after I letting them know I was treated different and then terminated and I was one of their top employees till I let them know Epilepsy lead to my absences. If I would not have told them I believe I would still have my job today. I also applied for a position and was denied and believe it was from being absent due to epilepsy.

@tx35jay hi you can take your employer to tribunal from what you have said its unfair dismissal and discrimination because he has used your condition as an excuse to terminate your employment
Speak to accas or citizen advice and they will be able to guide you through the process0 -
I have found a attorney that is working with me for discrimination and wrongful termination.

@tx35jay thats realy good news i have represented cases myself where I live and most of my cases have been as low as 4 weeks employed as long as there is a reason in law it doesn't matter how long you have been working
Employers will soon learn to treat there staff properly
Well done0
