The roses are red
The violets are manky
I'm feeling sad
Please give me a hanky

Roses are red
Violets have petals
He said he loved me
But preferred heavy metal
Not sure if that works
Oh heck and if I've misjudged the tone of this thread, here's a big squishy hug for you bothI hope you are both alright.

Love it. I'm actually manic so don't panic.
Can't help talking in rhyme, it happens all the time xx0 -
Some budding poets here I think
Hanky and virtual hugs on their way0 -

Hello @coylygirl
Love the poetry, but I'm sorry to hear you don't feel too good at the moment. Hopefully you have techniques in place to manage yourself through these periods but please ensure you speak with your GP if you feel as though you need further support
My name is Ross, my poetry is dross.0 -
Hwy Ross, you da boss! I had a bipolar relapse after 3 years stable, I have amazing support from the professionals and wonderful friends, family and neighbours. Am getting there and optimistic for the future ****0

Hi there, I really like listening to pop music.0

I;m watching music TV as I can't concentrate on programmes, I;'m enjoying it and it provides a distraction. What sort of music do you like?0

I used to write a lot of poetry @1119082, but a combination of the bipolar and the strong meds has taken away by ability to write. When I do, it's usually with rhyme - I experimented with free verse, but somehow I like the structure. My mania has given me back some small skill and I hope that when my meds are sorted, I will be a little higher than I have been in the past.0
