The roses are red
The violets are manky
I'm feeling sad
Please give me a hanky

Roses are red
Violets have petals
He said he loved me
But preferred heavy metal
Not sure if that works

Love it. I'm actually manic so don't panic.
Can't help talking in rhyme, it happens all the time xx -
Some budding poets here I think
Hanky and virtual hugs on their way -
I like a rhyme...
There was an old man from Nantucket
Told he needed a jab and to book it
Bit of a farce, it went up his @rse
The nurse said 'whatever, you took it!' -

Hello @coylygirl
Love the poetry, but I'm sorry to hear you don't feel too good at the moment. Hopefully you have techniques in place to manage yourself through these periods but please ensure you speak with your GP if you feel as though you need further support

Hi there, I really like listening to pop music.
-
I;m watching music TV as I can't concentrate on programmes, I;'m enjoying it and it provides a distraction. What sort of music do you like?
-
I like listening to pop music

how about you
-
I like Linkin Park and Muse but bit too intense for my head at the moment so listening to strong women anthems
-
okay
-
do you like poems

I used to write a lot of poetry @1119082, but a combination of the bipolar and the strong meds has taken away by ability to write. When I do, it's usually with rhyme - I experimented with free verse, but somehow I like the structure. My mania has given me back some small skill and I hope that when my meds are sorted, I will be a little higher than I have been in the past.
