Fit note for partner

Hi, just a quick question here. I've read on the NHS website that I can speak to a gp on behalf of someone, I'm just wondering if I can speak to the gp and ask for the fit/sick not for uc for my fiancé. He's severely anxious and refuses to speak to them himself. Thanks :)

    All you can do is try maybe speak to practice manager and ask

    Hi @em1711, ideally your partner would at least be there to agree. If the surgery is doing telephone appointments would your partner be able to say he gives permission for you to speak on his behalf and then hand the phone to you?
