Im new to using a scooter, im trying to plan a weekend away in the summer for my husband and i for our wedding anniversary, we are not really into shopping, we live near Brighton so somewhere 3 to 4 hrs from there would be great. Nice places with ideas of what we can do together we me on the scooter would be great, i really like the beach, we both like to swim etc.

Hi @SouthernBelle
Hopefully one of our other members will have gone on a holiday in the area, but in the meantime you might like to read this page on Scope's website about getting travel advice from other disabled people. There are some useful links and resources in there.
I hope you and your husband have a wonderful anniversary! -
Thank you i will take a look

@SouthernBelle have you thought about a holiday camp sort of thing that is disability friendly like buttlins that have accessibility for scooters and wheel chair users
You could go on line and find accessible bed and breakfast or hotels near to the beach that are disability friendly I found a few places in England and Wales and Scotland
Hope this helps
