Is a gap of one month in DLA renewal award start date normal?

Hello all, my son’s current DLA award ends on 20th Feb, I had sent first DLA renewal in December 2020 and received decision today. He has been awarded DLA but start date is 20th March 2021.There is gap of one month , is it normal or should I contact DLA ?

    @san23, yes contact the DWP and explain your concern about the gap in payments of the one month.it may have been a typing error so ring tomorrow have the correct Identification to hand when you call. Give the community an update if successful.

    Hello Wilko, I had called them and they told me it’s just an error these days on award letters with dates, so just ignore, I will keep getting payments. Even this message is recorded when you call DLA about incorrect dates.
