I had a long appointment with them yesterday, which I found was abit of a battle! They do agree with reasonable adjustments but believe that I will hit the targets in time. However these targets are unrealistic to other members of the team so for me it’s even more so.  I work as fast as I can to the best of my ability. I will certainly look at the link, thanks again @Richard_Scope

    Hi @Charl73
I'm sorry to hear that the appointment was a bit of battle, I imagine that must have been frustrating for you. As you say you are working to the best of your ability as quickly as you are able too and it's a shame they are not willing to be a little more flexible in their approach to reasonable adjustments, it's one thing to agree with reasonable adjustments, it's another to ensure that this is happening in order to meet individual needs, in my opinion. I really hope that the links @Richard_Scope has shared are useful and please do continue to keep us updated. We are here to support you. Thank you.

    Hi @Charl73
How are you? How are things going? I hope that there have been some improvements for you. Thank you.

Hi @WestHam06, things have got a little bit better at work, they have now made a reasonable adjustment to my targets but I’ll have to see how it goes.  They’re putting a lot of pressure on all employees too.  My walking is up and down, good days and bad days.  My physio has suggested maybe trying hiking sticks so I’ll look into them.  I’m finding it very frustrating again,  which I know doesn’t help!  Hope you’re well and keeping safe too.

    Hi @Charl73,
I'm pleased to hear things have improved slightly at work but as you say it is important to see how things go and monitor things. It's a shame to hear that they are putting lots of pressure on everyone, though sadly, I feel this is something lots of employees from varying companies are experiencing due to the pressures caused by Covid-19. That said, companies should still be ensuring they are meeting all statutory requirements and statements set out in their policies.  I hear how frustrated you are with regards to having good and bad days in relation to your walking but it's helpful that you recognise that this isn't always helpful. Please remember, we all have good and bad days and that's ok. Please do let us know how you find hiking sticks and whether you feel they are for you long term.  I hope things continue to improve. Thank you.

    Hi @Charl73
How are things, did you go for the hiking sticks in the end? I'm feeling quite positive that there may be light at the end of the tunnel, I had my first vaccine last night and the sun is shining. I might be getting ahead of myself but I'm going to run with it!

Hi @Richard_Scope, I'm not doing too bad thanks!  I'm still toying with the idea of hiking sticks and am having good and bad days with my legs!  However, like you I can see light at the end of the tunnel, the nights are getting lighter so no real excuse of not getting out for a walk :-)  I had my first vaccine last night too :-)  I felt really lucky and honoured to be called so soon, I feel like I have an invisible blanket wrapped round me!  Although, my partner who came with me felt even better, he didn't have his vaccine but as we 'checked out' the lady said to me 'Oh is this your toy boy!' lol!!  He's 11 months older than me so you can imagine he's lapping this up!!
How are you feeling today?  My arm is feeling tender but otherwise I feel great :-)  Take care :-)

@Richard_Scope and @Charl73, I'm pleased to hear that you both have had your first vaccines, this is great news and as you describe, must make you feel a little safer :) Thank you

@Charl73 I feel okay. I had no adverse effects other than a bit of a sore arm. My partner wasn't as fortunate though. When you reach a certain vintage you have to take any compliment that you get! I know I do!
