Hi I am claiming universal credit, but my daughter who lives with me gets legacy benefits and is entitled to sdp, I wondered if she claims this will it be deducted from universal credit?

Hi and welcome
To claim sdp you need to live alone or with someone who is claiming a disability benefit like PIP
If she claims it is an extra payment to her and not part of your UC0 -
Thankyou for your reply, I do get pip, but thought the sdp may be taken into account by universal credit. So wasn't sure about claiming.0

Her benefits and your benefits are separate.0
