Hi, everyone.
My husband had an unexpected payment from DWP by same day emergency payment 2 weeks ago.
The payment is usually Fri tow weekly but the last payment was made on Tue (3 days earlier than we expected.)
The amount matches his ESA (income support).
I spoke to DWP and we were told there was a bit of overwhelming situation in DWP due to a lot of new claims so they made payment manually. We were told nothing to worry about.
His regular payment is supposed to today but there is no payment.
I wonder if there is something going on or I started worrying if we missed sending docs or assessment even if we haven’t received any letter from them.
I wonder if there is anyone had some...
Only way I can find out is talking to DWP again...

I agree you need to call them
There have been a few members recently who have had late or missing payments so maybe something 7d going wrong their end
Let us know how you get on as will be useful for other members -
I spoke to them this morning.
I was told a lot of changes happening to their computer system, so it’s their side not my side. I was told the same kind of thing last time I called 2 weeks ago, so I believe it’s true.
The lady who I spoke to has sent an email to the benefit department and requested fast payment.
I was told they will call me after they made.a payment but I still haven’t heard from them yet.
If I don’t hear from them today, will ring them again on Mon. -
Thanks for the update

I waited for them to call until now but no phone call, no payment.
I will talk to them on Mon morning.
