Self isolating

My daughter-in-law gets tested for Covid-19 every week due to her work. She just got notified this morning that yesterday's test came back positive. My son obviously has to isolate, & so do I as they are in my support bubble. We'll all be pottering a lot in our respective gardens if this nice weather holds (& we don't get any symptoms!)

Thank you. I had my first vaccine 12 days ago. Our main concern is my daughter-in-law who's troubled with asthma, & I need to find out how to get my repeat prescription, which my son was due to collect Thurs/Fri.

Thank you @woodbine @Ross_Scope & @Cressida . Yes, hoping for sunshine rather than symptoms for the rest of this month. I'll have to see if there's anything else that needs sowing....my tomato seeds have been done, & are in the greenhouse. A volunteer will collect & deliver my prescription, so that's good. The only one going anywhere is my cat Shadow. :)

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully will come and go quickly and that there is nice weather so you can enjoy the garden. I agree it’s nice to see you back on the forum.

Just to let you know I finally found it on offer and tried Pernod.......not a fan sadly :( I’d drop the bottle off to help your self isolation period go by faster if I could!!!

Hope your son is OK @janer1967 - will he have to do any further Covid-19 tests, & will you have to be tested?
My son later said his wife had a slight cough on Sunday, but she feels perfectly well so far. He has always worried as he works in a small, but busy food retailer, seeing a lot of customers. As he says, she could easily have got it from him. We're all staying positive (& phoning each other a lot!)  :)

@chiarieds my son has to test twice a week he has supply of home test kits

I don't have to test unless either of us get symptoms

Just a bit nightmare as I cant go out without him for shopping or anything so will have to do online

Of course the home schooling yet again

Thank you @leeCal - it brings (rather too close to home) how serious this virus can be, & how it can spread. I'm hoping that @janer1967 & son are definitely OK too.

Thanks everyone for the kind wishes

I am sure we will be ok been in this situation a few times guess it only to be expected when you have school age kids

At least he has his hone test kits so we can keep checking

Wouldn't it be fantastic if there was an effective medication for those positive but guess it's too early days for that yet

Hope you are getting on okay @chiarieds and your son is too @janer1967

It definitely brings things close to home and shows we are far from out of the woods yet  :(  Keep safe and please let the team know if we can do anything to support you.
