Hi, my friends mother has recently become paralysed and is only able to use her voice to communicate. We are looking to find the best way to enable her to turn on the tv, change channels, etc and also potentially search the internet. I’m aware that Alexa and Fire TV look as though they offer the TV functionality but wondered what other options are available I.e. specialist providers. Any help or guidance gratefully appreciated.

if other adaptions for the disabled are anything to go by I would imagine specialist equipment would more expensive than say an Alexa set up, that said I am unsure what functionality products like this have and depending on your needs a bespoke product may be worth any potential extra expensive if it is within your budget of course

Thanks, aware of Sky remote. Unfortunately the lady is unable to press the voice button and I therefore need 100% voice activated.

Apologies, do you have any further information on the “software form”.
