Access to work. My travel grant claim takes 15 days to process. Has anyone else had this problem?

Good afternoon, i have just registered and this is my first post. I have recently been awarded a grant for travel to and from my work, i have just made my first claim and the amount of time it took was ridiculous, they told me it was 10 days to process, and then 5 days for the money to go in my bank. This has put extra pressure on my financial situation and I'm wondering if this is all it's cracked up to be. Has anyone else had any problems like this? I'd be interested to hear, thanks.

Hi @redsteve21 welcome to the forum, have you received it now, if not hopefully it won't be much longer, not great having to wait ages.

Hi and welcome
As with any gov service or money there are always time issues
They are extremely understaffed and lots of them still working from home
