Interesting question. I hope other members are able to offer you some personal experience. There are lots of ways of showing affection in a physical way @pattern1991. These can include, but definitely aren't limited to:
- hugging
- stroking
- kissing
- massages
- sex
- playing with hair
As with everything, I think it's mainly a case of finding out what you and your partner both enjoy, and finding a way to make it work. Some people aren't into physical affection much, and prefer getting affection from doing an activity together, spoken words, or receiving a gift and so on.

all very true tori what do you mean by barriers

I was just wondering whether there was any form of physical affection you'd wanted to give in the past, but had encountered problems with @pattern1991? That might help other members to give more specific advice on possible workarounds .

This is a beautifully put question @pattern1991 - thank you.
I know that @Tori_Scope has already replied to you with some ideas on this, but it would be lovely to hear if anybody else had any more suggestions based on their own personal experience?
Of course, we are all different, so we will all respond quite differently to what we think of in terms of affection. But for me, even something as simple as being with someone and spending time together - some people might call that a companionable silence - can be a way of showing your affection for somebody that you're close to.
What do you think @pattern1991? -
i get what you mean but sometimes it isn't enough
