Hi Tina, I know exactly how you feel I have my pip form compleated in front of me waiting to be sent but I keep thinking what’s the point. Makes my anxiety worse stressing about it whatever the outcome.

Hello and welcome to the community @TINA1961
That wait to hear back can be a long, uncomfortable one sometimes but sadly waiting times aren't being helped by the pandemic. Hopefully it won't be too long for you though until you get a date for an assessment.
I'm glad you are getting help from your doctor to manage your mental health, I hope this goes well for you

Hi @TINA1961
I just wanted to say hello and add my welcome to the community
Sorry to hear that you're having difficulty with your anxiety. I can understand how your appointment with your employer might be making you feel anxious. I am really glad to hear that you've been getting help from your doctor though. I wonder - have they made any suggestions for when you might be struggling? Or do you have any self-care or coping strategies that you could use to help you stay calm and relaxed? For example, any activities, mindfulness techniques or breathing exercises that you've found to help you?
If you could try to focus on those this afternoon, that might help you to feel a bit better about tomorrow. Plus, we're here if you want to chat to us and take your mind off things for a bit
