Hi there
I presume you have had your assessment
It can take around 8 weeks after for a decision
You can request a copy if the report after 7 days which will show recommended points
If you started claim in November it's about right timescale takes around 6 months to complete
And DWP amhave huge backlogs -
Ok I will wait until I hear from them thanks for reply :-)

Also it depends on where u live as to how long the backlog is.I had my assement 4th march n it was with DM by the 16th n i rang last week to see what going on n lady said i shd hear somethin in next couple of weeks. Good luck xx

hi hi thanks for the reply’s I asked for the assessment report and checked that and seems they did write down what we spoke about I am just unsure how to read it really how do I know what points I got and don’t know how it will go. It just seems so stressful any advice would be good

Hi
There should be ticks or dots next to the descriptors this is the points they have recommended
.add them up for each section to see the award -
hi I see ticks but I don’t see how many points next to the ticks so how do I convert ?

Hi @Scruffnutts - & welcome. Add up the points for each component (daily living & mobility). You need 8 or more points for a standard award, & 12 or more to qualify for the enhanced rate. The decision maker usually goes with the recommendation, but you would still have to wait for your decision letter to be sure.
