Should you reveal you pay for private physio when applying for PIP?

Does the fact that you have "lots of money" already count against you when trying to claim a benefit like PIP?

Surely people who can afford private physio are not considered urgent for benefits?

    Hi there

Pip isn't a means tested benefit so it doesn't matter how much money somebody has

Just because someone can pay for private physio doesn't mean they have lots of money

The physio could be paid for as part of a health insurance they have paid into or part of their employment

Disabled people ars still disabled even if they have money

As above, PIP isn't a means tested benefit. Just to add, we have some members who've paid to see Drs or therapists privately because of the NHS waiting lists, which understandably lengthened due to the pandemic too.
