Hi i was awarded LCWRA in November 2018, when i was awarded it i rang the helpline who advised it was for 1, so until 2019. It is now 2.5 years and i have had nothing from the relevant authorities in regards to be reassessment. Because of this i rang them today who advised again it should have been reviewed after a year. The advisor did not really know themselves what to do going forward.

What should i do, and has anybody else come across this king of situation where they are supposed to reassessment however 2+ years later they are still waiting and receiving the benefit?

    Hi there

There is no fixed assessment time for wca the timescale they quote is only a guide and you will continue to be paid until reassessed

They are currently prioritising new claims and will eventually get round to reassessment

You don’t need to do anything. When they are ready to reassess you they will contact you.

Just to confirm ESA is technically an indefinite award with regular reviews, the assessed claimant will have a prognosis date in your case a year? I know many on ESA that have been extended,  and have been added extra 2 years because of the covid pandemic.

yes you will be still paid until a further decision is made. Just try to relax for a while longer.
