My talents are programming or web development, music production, writing, making podcasts and playing the piano.I also like reading, sociology, socialising, watching television and YouTube. It would be good to play video games and tabletop games but I don't have the time for that as I'm too busy creating things.

I'm a bit of a nerd. Family history is my big hobby but I love history in general, mostly social history linked to the common person rather than nobility or monarchy.
I do read a fair bit of fiction (mostly historical or fantasy with bits of sci fi thrown in). I read books as well as eBooks where I can get my iPad to read to me which helps when I'm trying to take in information (I've ClaroRead and other programs for my laptop to read books and papers to me too).
I'm a big music fan and was going to a lot of concerts (I've two waiting for Covid restrictions to ease) though now looking at them to see if I can sit through them. Lots of genres but mostly rock and metal (but I do LOVE Eurovision).
I'm trying to learn Polish just now, not very successfully.
Do watch a fair bit of TV. Lots of true crime, bit of Ghost Adventures and lots of different series. Currently binging on Star Trek, Kim's Convenience and awaiting new Cobra Kai, Last Kingdom, Westworld, American Gods...
I spend too much time on Animal Crossing haha!
Did used to do a lot of walking for miles at a time, but now I can walk around the block with my stick and that's about my limit.
So I do keep myself busy. Only recently lost my job so I've had a lot of spare time on my hands. -
how interesting
sorry to hear you lost your job but its good you have time to pursue your hobbies
i use claroread for university but i still find it hard to read books using it there are some steps you need to follow to do it i was getting a tech adviser from uni but he wasnt great haha
sounds like youo have an action packed life which is brilliant ! -
@Geegeenumber1 are they books you're scanning or PDF books? I have my iPad set up with ClaroView (which I think was free) and I read PDF and eBooks on there far more easily than on my laptop. I do use ClaroRead for more than books. If you have essays due, use ClaroRead as another proofreader. Sometimes it's easier to hear the mistakes than see them That was something I discovered in my last year of uni for myself... I wish I realised sooner! There is a great YouTube tech guy called Codpast (rather than Podcast...) who deals with setting up assistive tech for dyslexics amongst other bits and bobs that might be worth checking out if your tech advisor didn't help out.

@Geegeenumber1 it's ClaroPDF I have on my iPad and I can link it up with my Google Cloud so I can put papers I need/want to read on there and import them onto my iPad to read. Hope that's of some help
