I work for a local heritage site and we need a disabled access ramp. How can I go about getting one?

Google it! This is how I got my ramp by post or you could look for any suppliers in your area and see if you can go and have a look at them.

I would suggest you contact the council and ask them to assess the entrance 

As this is a public attraction you need to ensure it meets health and safety regulations and your public liability insurance isn't compromised 

I certainly would not recommend just getting one off the Internet as it isn't for your own personal use 

Maybe my last comment was a little flippent however there are charities out there that do access audits at a cost and they will look at all areas and assess if they cover all types of disability to ensure you meet the Equality act and present you with a report. These are usually disabilty charities and use trained disabled people to carry them out.
