I recently had a scan on my shoudlers and was told i had serious  arthritic  in my shoulder. The nurse specialist said theywould refer me to physio.how on earth can sending me to physio resolve this pain,i am 69 years of age.I have also been in touch with the DWP  about my award and asked if they could  take my change of circumstances into account.I was told i would have to be sent the new PIP form to inform them of changes, another 40 page document to fill in again and the anguish of getting all my medical records obtained.I also found out with the slip of the tongue that if you receive a aged related pension then you can never be awarded top rate of disability but you can for daily living allowance,.If you are under 65  and claiming enhanced rate you carry on getting it.when you reach 65,one rule for one one rule for another.Recently i have read that the DWP scored wrong points on the deciphers and gave less points  under certain disability acts.I quoted to the DWP that I am tye 1 diabetic which is an illness 2020 act .My diabetes is uncontrolled and i have to use 2 different kinds on new insulin. The DWP never asked me to get this evidence to them but i see mt Diabetic Consultant next week .I just hope my consultant can issue me a letter on my conditions. My general conditions are getting worse and i will seek the advice on filling in the new PIP form with citezens advice.I am not one for using technicak words but the citezens advice will now THANKYOU FOR READING

    Hello @1984cathy

Thanks for posting, I'm sorry to read you are finding it difficult to manage your pain at the minute, I hope that the physio  is able to help. Is it long now until your appointment? If whatever they suggest doesn't work for you it might be worth asking what other forms of pain management you could take a look at.

I wish you the very best with filling out the change of circumstances form and fingers crossed the help from CAB is beneficial for you. It seems as though you've done the right thing in seeking help with it, it can be a challenging form to fill out, just ensure that you illustrate how your condition at this moment in time relates to the descriptors, and use anecdotal evidence where possible.
