Hi All,
Hope you're all keeping well and safe.
Well, after a stressful 3 weeks, it arrived, and all I can say Is I'm astonished !!
Zero points, a flat NO !!
The DA, has basically twisted everything I've said. Apparently I dont receive therapy or treatment, but I do have a cpap machine, and suffer with Depression and Anxiety. I haven't had an OT assessment at home, or any prescribed aids. Ive been discharged from specialist care for my back, which Is on going care, through my gp. I have a walking frame, a chair with wheels, a commode, shower chair. But because they were prescribed, they don't count ???
I was asked some very personal questions, and I was very upset by this, but apparently, I showed a good sense of Humour throughout the call. Just unbelievable, she said I visit my family frequently, I only speak to dad and brother on phone twice a month.
Absolutely shameful of her to do this.
Definitely a MR as soon as the letter arrives ?
Hope you're all keeping well and safe.

Hi there Sorry to hear your report isn't what you expected buf don't forget that it isn't the decision
The assessor doesn't report what you say rather assesses your functionality based on their own opinion
This is obviously not your opinion and I get that
Have read in our pip section about the mr and challenging the decision0 -
I'm so sorry hun ? been where you are and I'm still going through it months later
I just don't know what to say to make it any better because its all so depressing? But I really do hope you get the right decision ASAP ??? 1 -
Hello @em444
I'm sorry to hear that the report wasn't pleasant reading, as mentioned above the DM won't necessarily go along with it but if they do, then yeah a MR is your next step. Are you comfortable with carrying out a MR and how to approach it?1 -
Hi,
Thanks for your message ?
I had to challenge ESA, a few years ago, so Im pretty sure Im ok. I will definitely be writing in detail, what I actually said. I cant believe that she said, I evidenced appropriate humour, and showed no signs of anxiety.
I told her that I was extremely anxious and not slept. I was in tears when I had to explain my intrusive thoughts. Any laughter was because of nerves, and that was once. My gp has never advised mobility aids, I have purchased these myself.
Apparently Im sering a Councillor. Im having EMDR Therapy, from a Psychiatrist. And support worker through Framework1 -
@em444, hello and welcome, now you have you assessment report you can start collecting information and evidence to support your MR when your assessment award notification letter arrives. Don’t mention that the HP lied ect, keep to the point you are referring to. Remember you have to be able to preform the descriptors safely, repeatedly and in a timely manner. So give examples of what happened or happens each time you preform or attempt each descriptor. Some may be ok you have no problems but the one you struggle with get the information and evidence to support your PIP application.1
