Hi there
I have a question on behalf of my daughter who has been diagnosed last year with Ulcerative Colitis. She is very unwell at present and waiting on an appointment with the specialist. She starts college in September this year but is wondering if she would be able to apply for PIP. She is not in the position to start a job at present as she is trying to control it and is very unwell. She is at the toilet a lot and is in pain.
Any help would be appreciated. She is 21. She will get no bursary when she starts college as myself and my partner work. They do not take into consideration we have another 2 children to support either. Would she be able to apply for PIP when she is a student or is this only for anyone unemployed.

Thank you
