Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated..

    Hi there

The best way would be to appeal the decision rather than apply again

When was the last time you got turned down

The 15th of June I have appealed it once so would I have to take it to a tribunal

I can't kope with all the rejection
In the last year I have lost all momentum to fight as I'm hurting and drained every day

As I'm now doing what others are telling me .

    Thank you

The first stage of appeal is mandatory reconsideration is this what you did?

If this failed which in all honesty the majority do the next stage is tribunal

I would suggest you contact welfare rights to see if they can help

Constantly applying with the same detail of application will only get the same outcome

Read through some of the posts in our pip section it should help you

Hi @Andym44 and a warm welcome to our community from me.

I'm sorry you haven't been successful in claiming PIP yet.  You aren't alone and many of our members have similar experiences, being unaware of how best to complete the form.  It's important when claiming PIP to evidence how your impairments impact your ability to carry out the PIP activities.  One way of illustrating this is by giving detailed examples of the last 2-3 times you attempted an activity, making note of what happened, where you were, who was with you, the difficulties you faced and any consequences.  Remember, you satisfy any descriptor where you evidence that you can't carry out it out reliably, that is safely, to an acceptable standard, repeatedly and in reasonable time.

I realise this can be confusing and would recommend looking for free specialist welfare advice close to where you live.  The Advice Local website is a great means of finding such organisations - just enter your postcode and select Welfare benefits from the drop down list.  I also appreciate the thought of going to tribunal stage can be daunting but please don't lose hope.  We'd be happy to help you along the way too.

Just to ask, are you receiving much support to help you manage your conditions?  It sounds like this situation is having an understandable impact on your energy levels and mood.  If you feel that it would help to talk more about these things, perhaps look at making an appointment to speak with your GP.

I've tweaked the title of your thread to help make others aware of your question.  Take care and good luck.

@Andym44, Hello and welcome, as you know or should know PIP is not awarded on a disability, diagnosis, illnesses or the amount of prescription medications you have prescribed. PIP is awarded on your abilities to manage, cope with the PIP descriptors in a safe, repeatedly and in a timely manner for 50% of your daily life. You must ficus on your inabilities to preform the descriptors giving examples of what does or did happen each time you try to or attempt the descriptor and give actual proof of the reasons why you are unable to manage the descriptor you are referring to. Remember any information given in your application form will have to be justified at you assessment.
