If I withdraw a lump sum from a private pension to pay off some of my mortgage, will this affect my contributory ESA payments?
Thank you

hi @riabla and a warm welcome to scope, if your ESA is just cont.based with no income related top up then it won't be affected but as ESA cont.based is taxable there may be tax implications if you are taking more than 25% of your pension pot, I assume you are over 55?
