LCWRA decision without WCA?

Hi all, hope this is ok to ask.
I filled in the form for LCW last June and didn't hear anything for ages. Then in May my doctor finally sent the evidence form in.
I've called every week since to see if there's any update and today the centre for health and disability has told me a decision has been made yesterday and sent to UC.
I rung UC who say they haven't got it yet but will update when they receive it.
My question is; I didn't have to go through a consultation/ assessment. Am I being naive in thinking that this seems like positive news? As I'm sure I've heard that people who have paper based assessments and a decision made without consultation are usually awarded LCWRA.
Thank you!
