Hi , Yesterday I received a letter from DWP stating that my sons PIP is been stopped as I did not send in the form .
I sent the forms and supporting evidence back in on the 10/06/21 . They w stopped my carers allowance too .
I received a text from DWP a couple of weeks ago which I ignored as I already sent back the forms .
It’s my word against theirs now . I copied everything I sent back to them except the declaration form which was enclosed with the pack . HELP ! ?

Hi there
It maybe that they have crossed in the post did you get proof of postage
Once the form gets to the mail centre it takes a few weeks before they get scanned onto the system and then they show as recieved
Give them a call to get an extension -
They already stopped the PIP & Carers allowance now . They wrote to me to tell me it stopped on the 1st July . Only got the letter yesterday

No I didn’t get proof of postage , wish I had now as that’s my security isn’t it . They provide free post envelope but fail to mention get proof of postage

All you can do is call them and see what they suggest

I’m ringing them this morning. Do you think I could speak to a manager ?
-
You can ask to speak to your sons case manager
They may not be available though but you can request they call you back -
It may still be sat there waiting to be scanned on. I would ring them and see what they say.
