Hi and welcome to the community
Pip is about h8w your daughter is able to function against daily living tasks and mobility
I would suggest you look at the descriptors to see if you think she would score points in order to get the benefit0 -
Hi @carol8 - & welcome to the community. The wife of a friend of mine has schizophrenia which greatly impacts on her life, & she receives PIP. So, as Jane mentions, it's about how this affects a person's daily life. The following link is a guide to completing a PIP claim form for those with mental health problems, so you can see what sort of difficulties may occur in attempting/doing certain activities which are looked at with PIP. Please see: https://www.mentalhealthandmoneyadvice.org/en/welfare-benefits/pip-mental-health-guide/help-with-your-pip-claim/how-to-fill-in-the-pip-form/Hope this helps, & please come back with any questions.0

Hello @carol8 and welcome to the community, how are you?
I hope the above replies have been helpful in explaining a bit more about PIP and how it works, is there anyting that you are still unsure of?
Can I ask, does your daughter receive all the mental health support she needs to manage her condition?0
