Hello I’m new to this
can anyone let me know if you can work out from the independent assessment report to DWP if you are going to be awarded PIP ? I’ve just requested a copy of the report.
Thanks

Hello @malstuval
Welcome to the community, how are you today?
The assessment report provides an indication of what the outcome might be, but not a guarantee because the decision maker won't necessarily go along with the assessor's recommendations.

Hi Ross
thanks for the welcome I believe it went well, I worried I said to much , and I worried I didn’t say enough
im just worried about the outcome as you know we come to depend on this financial help -
hello @malstuval - welcome to the community. I'm pleased you've got your PIP assessment over & done with......I think we all wonder if we've said the right thing after one, so you're not alone. When you get a copy of the assessor's report (which you have to ring the DWP to request), you will find a list of the activities that are looked at for PIP, & there will be a black dot or tick in one box for each activity. Compare that with the following, & you can work out the recommended points. Please see: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Documents/Advice (public)/PIP – table of activities, descriptors and points.pdf
As mentioned, you still have to wait for your decision letter. The decision maker usually goes along with the assessor's recommendation, but not always. Kindly let us know how you get on, thank you.

Hi and welcome to the community
You can work out the recomeded points by adding up the dot in the box against the descriptors
