Epilepsy Action support

All local branch and group face to face meetings and activities have been suspended.

We realise that many people rely on their group meetings and activities for information and support. Some of our groups are offering information and support through local virtual groups, using Zoom.

Brighton and Hove coffee and chat meets on the last Thursday of the month, 2pm - 3.30pm.

Bognor Regis Coffee and chat is not currently meeting virtually, but you can still sign up to hear from us when meetings restart.

If there isn’t a local virtual group meeting available for your local group you may be interested in our general virtual groups. These are open to anyone living in the UK. They are a great way of connecting with others who have experience of epilepsy, in a safe and relaxed environment.

If you cannot access support through a virtual group, or would like to speak to someone about epilepsy, our trained advisers are here to help. We offer confidential and personal advice through our helpline.

Near Bognor Regis? Meet other people living with epilepsy in a relaxed setting. The Epilepsy Action Bognor Regis Coffee and chat group meets on the third Wednesday of the month 10am - 12pm.

Guildford and Godalming Branch meets on the first Thursday of the month, 8pm - 9pm.

The group is open to anyone living with epilepsy, their families and carers. We are a friendly group where you can find mutual support and share stories about epilepsy, as well as making friends and having some fun along the way.

The group is run by our volunteer Elaine who can be contacted on 01932 865 441.

If you cannot make the local virtual group meetings you may also be interested in our general virtual groups that are open to anyone living in the UK.

Live in the Guildford and Godalming area? Our group usually meets on the first Thursday of each month from 10.30am - 12.30pm except during August.

This is an informal, social event where you can come along and chat to other people with epilepsy at the Rodboro Buildings Wetherspoons. Starting in February 2020, every other month the group hosts a pub meet and greet on the third Thursday of the month at 7.30pm at the Britannia Pub, Guildford.

If you live in the Kingston area, come along to Epilepsy Action's new coffee and chat group at the The Albert Pub. The group meets on the third Thursday of every month between 1.00pm-3.00pm.

The West London branch meeting takes place on the first Monday of the month at Ealing Green Church Centre, 6.30pm to 8.30pm except bank holidays.

Anyone with an interest in epilepsy is welcome. The meeting offers the chance to discuss issues relating to epilepsy and other areas of interest to branch members. Occasionally there are outside speakers. The branch also arranges fundraising and social activities.
