I claim universal credit and get limited capability to work .I want to volunteer but it says I must tell them about volunteering even though no payment .However even though it’s nothing like having a job I’m told on gov uk if I don’t tell or do if they find out my limited capability will stop and I will be hounded to work .Is this right .

You should let them know but it will not affect your benefit unless the nature of the volunteering contradicts the reasons you have LCWRA in which case they might choose to reassess you.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
