Hi @alex19. Having any test for possible cancer is always scary, so you’re definitely not alone on that one. Try and think that the sooner you get the results the better, you’ll then know what’s what, and if necessary it will be dealt with. When is your appointment? Do you have someone to go with you?

Is this the test to do? If so, it's easy to do, & at least in the privacy of your own home (I've done a couple). I got the results fairly quickly too.

Ahhh, I see @alex19. At least, the results for that one will be fairly quick then. Hopefully, your appointments for biopsies, camera and MRI will be in the post soon.

Thank you @Leigh14 it's just the waiting bit I don't like I already suffer lots of health problems as it is but from now on I'm just taking 1 day at a time

I always find the waiting times hard too. Taking one day at a time is the best plan. If you get too stressed, do something nice, treat yourself. I’m glad you have a partner to support you.

I'm sure it must be worrying @alex19, but you've got this :) It's okay to have an off day, but I second the advice to try and stay busy while you wait so that it's not at the front of your mind all the time. I hope you don't have to wait too long for the other appointments.

I’m so very sorry for all of your losses @alex19. I understand about good/bad days, and if it’s an ‘off’ day for you, that’s perfectly ok. Just be kind to yourself, you deserve to be.

I don’t have my mum and dad either, which is extremely hard at times. I have one adorable son, who keeps me going, as I’m sure your children do for you.

I’m sure they feel the same about you too. Kids are the reason for getting up in the morning, they are also good at distracting us from our own worries.
Enjoy your pie and cake making day. Happy 4th birthday to your son on Sunday????
