    Jane, can I ask you make a lemon seed cake for my son; it's his favourite, & it's his birthday today. I could keep him a virtual slice or 2 to take around this evening. :)

    I used to make him lemon seed cake; it was my Mum's recipe. I gave him a copy of it, & he's been promising to make his wife one for years!

    @Chloe_Scope

    I would select the Victoria sponge with fresh cream inside with strawberries folded through the cream

    Then topped with cream and fresh strawberry and chocolate flake crumbled over

    Made myself crave it now

    Not fussed on sarnies...I'll have some grated cheshire mixed with onion and salad cream on a wholemeal roll...
    I'd also like some Vicki sponge and lemon drizzle cake.

    My only posh tea was in St Marks Square, Venice.
    When I saw the the waiters coming towards us with a massive silver tier thing the size of a dust bin lid with several tiers the size of dustbin lids above..moving through the tables I wanted the ground to open up... :D

    'Snice though....

    I like Quorn chicken slices with salad. I have on white oven bottom muffins.
