Should my benefit be backdated?

Thankyou Adrian_Scope ill just have to wait and see i guess dont think they will be in a hurry to backdate it but we will see...i have used service issues section to give them a telling off and to at least reply to me0

That being the case, when the award is given, do you still have to wait 3 assessment periods to start being paid despite the 3 month wait already being served. As advised the 3 month wait is from when you reported the health condition, not from when the decision is made. of it has taken longer than 3 months to make the decision then arrears will be due. As also advised i my last reply, in your case that would appear to from April or May depending on your assessment dates.tru88le said:
