does going through debt management mean they are sorting out back pay and im entitled to sdp

hi my decision on my claim for sdp is taking a while i got told my claim is going through debt management but im not getting told if im entitled, i got told it would take 10 days its been 14 working days now i got told they are dealing with a lot of claims which i can understand, i just thought if they are putting it into debt management it might be a clue to whether im entitled any comments would be appreciated

Hi and welcome to the community
This is a pure guess but unless you have been awarded I can't see why it would be sent to debt management
They can't put a zero amount to debt management to see if any funds are owed to them
So I think yes this would mean you have been awarded
This is just my personal opinion so I could be wrong -
