Sorry it's causing you such anxiety @martyd85. Do you have a copy of your UC50 form with you? Try and take your time answering questions to ensure you say everything you want to say and keep a drink and maybe a snack to hand too.
Let us know how you get on. :)

I found the WCA assessment less stressful than the PIP one. Good luck and just be honest about your condition no matter how embarrassing. If you can't wipe your bum tell them .obv that's an example lol. Good luck you will be fine honestly

    HI,

I think most people find the whole process very stressful, even those that don't suffer with anxiety. They will want to know what a typical day is like for you and will ask you questions based on this. The call can last anywhere from 15 to 90 minutes, depending on the information they need, so make sure your phone is fully charged,. Good luck.

@martyd85 Can I ask, when did you put your UC50 form in? I know every case is different but I am trying to get a rough idea of the timescale involved.

My daughters UC50 form was returned 1st week of April. She had her telephone assessment end of June. The decision letter was uploaded into her journal on 6th July.

It's almost impossible to get ideas of timescales because all areas are different. I've heard of people waiting 6+months for an assessment, while others wait just a few weeks.
