Worried I didn't notify ESA my son was working

I'm so worried my son age 19 has been working 3 weeks now and I didn't think to contact them I did contact them about his tax credits and child benefit and disability element which I all lost I'm on dla middle rate and low so is my son age 9 and my husband on pip High rate for both elements

    HI,

    If you're claiming the severe disability premium in with your ESA and your son that's 19 isn't claiming a disability benefit for theirself such as PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care then you will lose the SDP. You should ring DWP/ESA to report the changes. Don't worry about not reporting it previously, you'll just have an overpayment which will need to be repaid back.

    If your 19 year old does claim either of those disability benefits then your ESA will remain unchanged because you'll still be entitled to the SDP.
