    It depends how big the back-log is in your area, we are seeing more and more that the average claim can take upto 10 months from start to finish.

    Some people have waited over 6 months for assessments but there are no fixed timescales its just a waiting gameĀ

    Hi, this is my timeline so far
    18th May - Requested pip form
    15th June - They received form
    14th Sept - Had assessment
    27th Sept - Requested copy of report
    29th Sept - Received the report
    Now just waiting for decision.Ā

    I applied for PIP in June 2021 and have just received notification that my telephone assessment is next Thursday. So about 4 months for me so far but I hear some people have waited double this time.Ā 

    Edit: I live in Birmingham. Different areas may have a longer back logĀ

    I started claim on 24/3/21 and got letter today, so just over 6 months for me but know that was good going as many people quoting 10 or more months

    My most recent claim was a review of an existing award, but that took four and a half months from the date I sent the paperwork back to them to recieving a date for a telephone assessment.Ā Ā
