Imagine £1 million was up for grabs. All you have to do to win it is sing a song from start to finish without getting a word wrong.
What song would you sing?

Don’t let the sun go down on me.
i actually used to sing the occasional song in various bands I was in, the most embarrassing was stairway to heaven, the most successful was Your Song. ?“This is my simple religion. No need for temples. No need for complicated philosophy. Your own mind, your own heart is the temple. Your philosophy is simple kindness.”

Meat loaf - bat out of hell. I listened to it from a young age because my parents were a big fan. So now I love it and know all the lyrics. Even tho it is nearly 10 mins long the album version lol

Not that I can sing (altho I was an alto in the school choir ), it would have to be 'On Ilkla Moor baht 'at.' My parents taught me it, & we used to always sing it coming back into Yorkshire if we'd been away. I carried on the tradition with my children. Much to my surprise my daughter-in-law was the first to break into song the last time this happened, so I've 'educated' her as well.

@chiarieds that’s amazing. I’m from Yorkshire too. Nice to see a fellow Yorkshian (as I call it) lol xx

I'm a Yorkshire lass too
Mine would have to be simply the best song it with my bestie on stage at my first wedding -
Under this pressure I can’t even remember the lyrics of Twinkle, twinkle.

Two Suns In The Sunset.
But the Pink Floyd purists would hate it because I'd want to add Calypso rhythms with whooping as a dig at the songs nuclear theme.
In my rear view mirrorTWOTHREEFOURThe sun is going down
NEVERTOOKATEST
Etc. A shame every musician fears being laughed at, instead of taking that and using it as bulletproof cocoon you're doing something right and should gain strength from. -
now where's my million £
You haven't sung it yet @woodbine
If you do, your £1 million will definitely be on it's way via... email. For sure.

Good one @Username_removed..I love watching 'Springsteen on Broadway'...normally I get impatient when they talk more than they sing..but really enjoyed listening to him talk about his life growing up...

I don't know if you heard it, but Jeremy Vine played it on Radio 2 the other day.
