Hello all
I need some help as I'm currently going through a pip tribunal appeal .
I have given the tribunal a letter from the CAB that tell my day to day life and how my mental illness has an impacted on my day to day life . my question is will this be enough proof for my mental illness or will i need to get more proof for my mental illness cos getting extra proof from mt GP is like getting blood out of a stone . Can someone give me some help and advice on what I need to do to win my pip tribunal cos I have never done or been to a tribunal before . hope someone can give me advice .

Letters from your GP are not the best evidence to send because your GP doesn't know exactly how your conditions affect you. When CAB helped you with the letter did they add a couple of real life examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you? Include information such as where you were, who (if anyone) seen it, what exactly happen and what the concequences were. If this hasn't been done then this is what you should do.Medical evidence is only helpful if it states exactly how your conditions affect you. What we can't do is advise you how to 'win' because we don't know anything about how your conditions affect you. The only person who knows that is yourself.0
