Some Ideas for New Years Eve 2021

On Sunday I booked my New Years Eve ticket at a local social club.

There's going to be a disco etc.
But no food. Bring your own.
I know it's around 12 weeks away but what can I take as in food?
Sarnies are a bit boring on New Years Eve.
I could do with some ideas.

Also has anyone got any ideas on sneaky ways of sneaking alcohol into this social club?

    At most social clubs the booze is reasonably priced so not sure why you would sneak your own in and risk getting thrown out having paid for a ticket. Many moons ago I was secetary at the oldest working mens club in the UK (sadly now closed) and I have had the task of chucking people out for sneaking booze in.
    2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

    I wouldn't take any food just have my meal before I went 

    You can then use the money you save on food to actually pay for drinks 

    The club have wages and bills to pay and provide electric etc to hold these events so in these hard times of their recovery I wouldn't even consider doing them out of the little bit they make in drink sales

    Will they be selling alcohol, or is banned which is why you want to sneak it in?

    My opinion, for what it’s worth, which is nothing, is that if they are selling alcohol then personally I’d buy it there as that’s the whole point in going. You are using their facilities so should pay for them. If they aren’t selling alcohol then I have no problem with sneaking some in. I’d use a hip flask or if you drink vodka you could put some in a water bottle.
