So I am currently on Higher rate care. but mobility Zero. I should be on the lower rate of mobility. what do I need to do to challenge this? even if I have to wait a year or two to go to a tribunal I'm more than happy enough to do this. do I need to call PIP up? Not sure what I would need to do.

When does your current award end? has your mobility got worse since you weren't awarded it? Have you looked at the mobility descriptors? link below has them:

Why do you think yolu're entitled to the mobility part? It's not as simple as you may think it is. Before doing anything else you should get further advice, for this start here. https://advicelocal.uk/

I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

If your condition has got worse you do not challenge the existing award, you report a change of circumstances to DWP and will be sent a new health questionnaire followed by a new assessment filling which DWP will review your entitlement. However you should not start this without asking advice, as others have suggested.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

@Username_removed you just try to outwit people on here but you won't be doing it to me pal. As I couldn't careless that you work for the DWP. I am entitled to more money and that's what I am going through do and get simple.

Hmm, i can assure you that @Username_removed certainly doesn't work for DWP. With the amount of knowledge and experience he has that's quite an insult.
I can't say it enough of times just how much knowledge i've learned from Mike over the years. I've said it before and i'll say it again it's thanks to Mike that myself and my daughter both had paper based reviews for PIP this year.
Sometimes you just need to take a step back and breathe and then maybe take a little advice from someone that really does know.
So, why exactly do you think you're entitled to the mobility part and i'm sure someone will be able to advise you further.

    Hi @thinkingsoul,

I hope that you've found some of the above advice helpful in explaining what your next steps should be in terms of potentially trying to change your PIP award. As some commenters have mentioned, it's important to get expert advice on this if you can as it's not a simple process and you need to be able to give good evidence and examples that explain why you should be awarded the mobility payment. Poppy123456 has posted it above, but I'll point you towards advicelocal.uk again, as it's a great resource for finding advice near you.
