Neuropathy

I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2007. Gradually over the years I started to get pain in my hands and feet. I started with burning and tingling sensation and the pain was unbearable.  I was put on morphine patches, they did help for a while but then got allergic to the plasters. I'm now on morphine tablets called shorter. Just like to know if anyone else have Neuropathy and how the deal with it.

hi @Dutchie5 welcome to scope, I have neuropathy in one leg due to my diabetes, it's one of (but not the only reason) I need to use a walking stick and struggle with my mobility.
My better half has been on morphine patches for about 15 years now with no bad reaction to them.
Have you thought about asking your GP to your local pain clinic?

As well as @woodbine excellent suggestion, a diabetes consultant can also be very useful in such cases. Do you see one? Could you ask for a referral?
