Hi I was wondering if someone could ansa a question for my friend he is on uc and he gets lcwra the reason being he gets very breathless he has been asked by another friend to sit and serve tea and coffee on a van his friend has at a local market would he b able to do this as I am not sure so don't want to feed him the wrong info thank u for ur time

Hi and welcome to the community
You are allowed to work while on lcwra and have a work allowance meaning you can earn a certain amount before it affects your uc
The amount depends on if you get help with housing costs or have dependant children
However the work you do should not contradict the reason for being awarded lcwra and working could trigger a new assessment0 -
