Hello @mummy_2999
Welcome to the community, it's lovely to see you join us.
How did your assessment go? Due to delays and backlogs, it can take about two months to hear back after the assessment, which I imagine you won't be delighted to hear. Hopefully though, yours will be sooner than that.Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

There are no fixed timescales for decision but anything from 2 -12 weeks sometime even longer -
Hi, here is an online Article you may be interested in about PIP waiting times after assessment.

https://www.theukrules.co.uk/news/workplace-and-benefits/pip-waiting-times-after-assessment.htmlThat link suggests the waiting times from applying to having a decision is 14 weeks, that's very optimistic, even under normal times. Feed back from many members here on the community suggests a timescale of 10 months from starting a claim to having a decision. From the assessment to decision as Janer has advised is currently between 2-12 weeks, sometimes longer. -
Yes @poppy123456 it is very optimistic. I think the Article needs updating so probably best i do not quote it anymore .
