Hi,First, have you referred youtself for a needs assessment? If you haven't then you can start this here.Do you live in privately rented or social housing flat? If social housing have you considered a house exchange? If you're privately renting then you can put your name down on the housing register but the wait could potentially be very long.Other than that you can do a search in your area to see if there's anything from a private landlord but if you rely on benefits for help with the rent then this may not be easy because a lot of landlords refuse to rent to those DSS tenants.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @piscean - welcome to the community. I'm sorry to read about your situation, but hope the advice above helps. If hoping to rent privately there's some info here: https://england.shelter.org.uk/housing_advice/private_renting/how_to_find_landlords_who_accept_benefits

A warm welcome to the community from me too @piscean
I'm sorry to hear about your housing situation, as that doesn't sound ideal at all, but I hope that you've found the above 2 comments helpful?
Would you be able to explain a little more about the kind of help you're looking for in terms of assistance with moving? For example, are you looking for help with finding a place, or the practicality of moving your belongings over to somewhere else?
