PIP is not means tested.
You don't say what type of ESA you get but you are allowed to work less than 16 hours and earn no more than £143/week without it affecting your ESA. You will need to inform ESA.

I completely understand yes, I felt a bit nervous at the start of this week, I've started my new job as coordinator here on Monday! But everyone is so friendly I need not have worried.
