Very true..I was only awarded standard mobility after my first assessment because I could drive a car, despite it being painful to do so but they don’t care about that...some of these assessors are not fit for purpose...mine said I could walk fine because I’m swapped my walking stick between hands...which is what my physio told me do if there was a railing on the side I usually hold my stick in...she also said I arrived carrying my handbag, notes and a bottle of water....my bottle of water was in my handbag which my  husband was carrying for me...

I have a friend who was once a nurse and made the mistake of becoming an assessor...she lasted a matter of weeks saying..in her words “I wasn’t prepared to bend the truth or lie on the assessment reports”

The HCP’s aren’t very professional at all, I stated in my Pip form my day to day difficulties, And sent evidence from my Autism diagnosis which said the same, But she just ignored it, Hopefully the Decision maker will rule against my assessment.

When you gave an example of the last time you tried walking further, did you explain in detail where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were?

I used all the helpful techniques to write a detailed example but they still came up with zero for everything, I also have PTSD recently diagnosed but in the report it said as when I had a confrontation I get 0 points because the police were not involved?.
I take a high does of anxiety medication but the report says I don't take anything for anxiety despite a copy of prescription, it seemed no-one looked at my evidence.

You’re not the only one to receive a bad assessment , I did recently too scored 0, but she missed out numerous things what was said on the phone, There still is abit of hope, Decision makers don’t always go with the Assessment report, It’s rare but it can happen, Just got to be hopeful the DM reads the PIP form and Evidence properly.

I'm at the MR stage as DM went with the assessors fairytale.

Ohh I haven’t received my DM decision yet, How long did it take for you to get a decision? I’m guessing they’ll go with the HCP report for me too then.
