Hi,I've never known a P60U to be accepted as ID for opening a bank account. If you do need it then usually DWP would have already sent you one earlier in the tax year, if you claim certain means tested benefits.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @plappertpauline91 - & welcome to the community. A benefits entitlement letter may also be OK, which I presume you will have. Other ID that may be used if you don't have a passport or driving licence (with photo) mentioned here: https://www.finder.com/uk/how-to-open-a-bank-account-without-id-in-the-uk
